Over the next week the students will go through assessment and would be provided with training before they appear for the interview.  Explaining the concept behind Job MelaMr. Rushikesh Humbe alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and Business Head of YES at TMI mentioned “unlike the job fairs which only connects dots with candidate with perspective clients YES Job Mela is more value added processes.  We assess candidate on his job personality and aptitude and also provide him basic training before connecting him with employer. This helps not only for candidates in identify and preparing for RIGHT job but also companies to cut recruitment time and overcome higher attrition at entry level.

The center doesn’t want to restrict itself to Job Melas. It is planning to develop these centers as activity centers for youth where they can seek help of experts counselors, attend trainings and sessions by industry center. “There are host of challenges on both candidates and employers side which results into mismatch. YES Centers are aimed to resolve this problem with this collaborative approach” added Mr. Humbe.
